So in the run up to Kapow! and the launch of our first issue, we’ve decided to do a few video blogs so you guys could catch up with ou wonderful writers and artists and see how things are progressing. We come bearing some very exciting news. After months of hard work, blood, sweat and tears, we are proud to announce that Lightning Strike #1 will be available to purchase (in print AND online) by May 2012, just in time for our excursion over to Kapow! in London.
All of us here at Lightning Strike would like to to take a moment to thank all who’ve supported us and dedicated their time and energy to the cause. We really hope you’re all happy with what we’ve produced and can’t wait to hear your feedback.

Hi guys! we hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are ready for some exciting graphic novel news. First off, Lightning Strike will he heading over to London this year with Dublin City Comics to take part in Kapow! Featuring comic legends Mark Millar and Jonathan Ross, we’ll be there in full force with a printed #1 issue. Its our goal to have a digital copy out a little bit before then but we’re literally 95% complete on the first issue at present.
We’ll also be heading up to Derry to attend this year’s 2D Con. So stick close to the website, Facebook and Twitter and get ready for some awesome Lightning Strike goodies, including more previews and videos!
Just a little update to let you all know that Lightning Strike Comics will be making an appearance at 2 conventions next year in the UK. On May 19th-20th we’ll be at Kapow! in London alongside the like of Mark Millar and Jonathan Ross. We’ll also be attending Hi-Ex, partially organized by our very own Richmond Clements and Vicky Stonebridge. So if you fancy coming along, or have any friends living in the UK attending, be sure to tell ’em to come by and have a look at ‘Lightning Strike Presents’ and Dublin City Comics table.
